Discovering of the Space, Time and Everything – Samaha Steppe – 18 days.
It takes three days to get to the most distant point of our route - the border of four countries - the last south-west village called Dzhazator. We will pass almost all federal route М-52, which is about 1000 kilometers long and Altai's part of it which is called Chujsky Path. It's a very famous road that goes through two picturesque Seminsky and Chike-Taman passes. Beyond Inya village, we will see petrogliphs of different ages and stone steles near the ancient barrow. Through the open distances of Kurajsky Steppe, we will get into unimaginable space of Chujsky Steppe bordered with the snow line of high glaciers. In Kosh Agach we will receive entry passes to a frontier zone and next day we will go to fascinating travel to the Time country - on a plateau of Ukok, to pass "Warm Key" where we'll find a geothermal source. From there we'll proceed to the village Dzhazator, where we will make excursion to the most distant points of our expedition - steppe with the beautiful name - Samaha. Plush spotty hills tower over the steppe, they are over two thousand meters height above sea level! Bordered with woods of larches, Samaha has widely stretched its meadows where herds of half-civilised horses and yaks are grazed. Here, on the border with China and Kazakhstan you can feel aromas and hear the voices of Winds of these countries. From here, we move back to the opposite direction to the Aktru glacier. On the way we stay overnight at picturesque Tarhatinsky lake. From the Aktru camp we go up to the huge glacier at about 3 km above sea level and make some more radial trekkings. And we will also try to reach Shavlinsky lakes by cars - it's going to be a real jeeping discovery! Further by the schedule is fishing at the B.Samulta river and places of interest of Chemal district for the shanty ending our 18 days Discovery of the Space, Time and Everything
